5 DO's:

1. Wash regularly: Wash your vehicle about every 3-4 weeks to maintain the coating's effectiveness. (Avoid automatic car washes that touch the vehicle - if you need to, touchless car washes are ok)

2. Use a soft, microfiber cloth: When cleaning and drying your vehicle, use a soft, microfiber cloth to prevent scratching the coating. (air blow drying is even better)

3. Use a mild, pH-balanced soap: When washing it wont take much, use a mild, pH-balanced soap that is specifically designed for washing sealed vehicles.

4. Use a Ceramic Coating topper: Using a topper on your ceramic coating after washing is a great way to preserve your coatings effectiveness.

5. Inspect regularly: Its a good idea to have us inspect your ceramic coating regularly for any signs of damage or wear. We recommend having us out for a maintenance wash and inspection regularly. (see our maintenance services for more information)

5 DON'Ts:

1. Curing Period: Most Coatings take between 4 and 24 hours to fully bond to the paint, its important to avoid getting the vehicle wet or dirty during this time. After the bonding period, we recommend you DON’T wash the vehicle for up to 2 weeks to ensure the Ceramic Coating is completely cured.

2. Don't use automatic car washes: Avoid using automatic car washes as much as possible as they are very rough and damaging to your vehicles paint and WILL diminish your coatings longevity and effectiveness.

3. Try to avoid parking under trees or power lines: Things like tree sap and bird droppings can damage the coating if left in the sun too long. Its important to remove things like that in an efficient manner if this happens.

4. Don't use abrasive materials or scrubbers: Avoid using abrasive materials, such as scrubber sponges or rough cloths, as they can damage the coating. Using soft microfiber towels is the best way to wash and dry your vehicle.

5. Don't neglect regular washing and maintenance: Neglecting regular washing and maintenance can lead to paint contaminant build up and reduce the effectiveness of the coating.
